At the start of summer I had attended a 4 day long personal health + wellness retreat in the Colorado mountains, it was everything my heart, body & soul was craving to reset mid-year amidst the busy season that photography brings. Towards the end of my stay I had received a message from Sierra asking if I happened to have availability for a morning couple's session & capture her relationship with longtime boyfriend, Brandon. Of course I was excited to capture a sweet couple (who I had previously met at a destination wedding in Italy last summer) and do so in beautiful Colorado.

Turns out, Brandon had another idea in mind: a surprise proposal!!!

The two of us mapped out a game plan to surprise Sierra during our session and have Brandon propose. It was the sweetest moment and completely caught her by surprise! It truly couldn't have gone any better!
